The Central UAS Technologies story began nearly 20 years ago with the formation of Leading Edge and Leading Edge Aerial Technologies. Now, our innovative founders are carrying their pioneering vision forward with the financial commitment and resources of Central Garden & Pet, a $3B+ company.

Since 2012, we have supported the vector control market, where our founders leveraged firsthand mosquito abatement and aviation experience to invent droplet analysis and aerial application technologies. By 2020, we had completed over 10,000 UAS flights and established ourselves as a market leader.

Our reputation eventually expanded into agriculture where, as Leading Edge, we earned the first ever FAA certification to perform UAS spray applications of agricultural products. We have since expanded our reach into livestock, forestry weed control and aquatics applications.

The most exciting part? We’re only getting started. Studies show that the use of UAS technology in the industries we serve will grow by an average of four times the size of the current market by 2030 as more professionals recognize the environmental, safety and cost-saving benefits.

Together, we’re charting a future where the sky isn’t the limit—it’s the beginning.
